CROPLAN GENETICS(R) Hybrids Eligible for Lower
Insurance Premiums in Four States

CROPLAN GENETICS(R) customers in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa and Minnesota, who purchase and plant YieldGard Plus(R) with Roundup Ready(R) Corn 2 (TS) or YieldGard VT Triple™ (VT3) technology, are eligible for discounts on crop insurance in 2008.

The discounted crop insurance is being offered through the Biotech Yield Endorsement (BYE) program, which was approved earlier this fall by The Risk Management Agency (RMA) of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

BYE lowers insurance premiums for non-irrigated corn producers in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa and Minnesota.  The BYE discount is available from all approved insurance providers.
