Winfield Solutions® led the way in on-line ordering for seed products with SOAR21. Now, we are leading with a new level of customer self service, utilizing the latest in web technology to enhance your experience. The Winfield Solutions® Connect3™ system is a technology tool that will bring together your sales, service, and support needs into one on-line resource. This system will reduce administrative time, allowing you to spend more time with growers. Enhanced product search capabilities, reduced order entry steps, and faster response time are some of the current benefits. Additional benefits are already under development for 2011. “Most people who have tested the new web portal agree that one of the best parts is the watch list,” says John Romines, Director of Retail Sales, WinField Solutions®. “The Winfield Solutions® Connect3™ system will automatically add a quantity request to your watch list for items that may have been unavailable at the time you placed the order. This eliminates the need to call your representative with requests.” The Winfield Solutions® Connect3™ system opened for wheat customer orders in July, all other seed items will open in September. The ability to submit prepay requests, both for seed and crop protection products, will also be available this fall. “We’re especially excited about the customer self service inquiry features,” says Doug Brunt, Director of Business-to-Business Sales, Winfield Solutions®. “Customers will be able to access more information on orders than in the past. And they’ll be able to look up estimated ship dates, product availability, invoice details, and prepay status all in one location.” With input from our sales representatives and customers, we have worked to ensure the system is user-friendly and easy to learn. We will be providing quick references cards and training modules to further enhance your ability to successfully utilize the new system. Support webinars will be held during the fall ordering season, and just like other programs, our support teams will be available to help you every step of the way.
